- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The purpose of this requirement is to purchase digitial data collection/retrieval system. To: Wideband Systems Inc (WSI.) Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), Justification: Supplies (or Services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services or which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within twenty days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A Determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This Request for Quotation (FA8204-06-Q-64031) is for a Sole Source award to Wideband Systems Inc (WSI) , 2409 Linden Lane, Silver Spring MD 20910-1230 with a Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) of DX. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-10 & DCN 20060711. The 526th ICBMSW/PKA intends to purchase three sets of equipment and three commercial operating manuals. Each set shall include the following: 1-DRS3300E-144GB-200-16A16D, 1-WSI-1UPC01, and 8-DRS-4PCMCABLE. Inspection/Acceptance/FOB is destination. One set of equipment and one operators manual will be delivered 8-12 weeks ARO to the following locations: Boeing-Anaheim, Attn: Greg Habbestad, Boeing/Bldg 235 Dock, 1180 N. Miller, Anaheim, CA 92806; Lockheed Martin-Valley Forge, Lockheed Martin Space Systems, Attn: Terry Irwin, 230 Mall Blvd., King of Prussia PA 19406; and NG-Space Park, NGMS, Attn: John Sover, 1800 Glenn Curtis St., Carson CA 90746.
