- THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY (SOURCES SOUGHT) AND NOT A SOLICITATION. The Sources Sought is issued for the purpose of determining if there are at least three (3) responsible Small Business concerns capable of meeting the requirement. Interested firms must reference their 8(a), HUBZone, Woman Owned or Service Disability Veteran-Owned status that must be signed by a company official with authority to bind the company. In addition provide CAGE Code, DUNS number, a brief capability statement and verify that the company meets the above requirements. All potential offerors are reminded, in accordance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS) 252.204-7004, Required Central Contractor Registration, lack of registration in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) will make an offeror ineligible for contract award. This Sources Sought Notice is also issued for the purpose of market research in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. All businesses capable of providing these services are invited to respond. Any information provided by industry to the Government as a result of this sources sought synopsis is voluntary. The Government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this sources sought synopsis. The 10MSG/LGCB is seeking potential sources who can manufacture NanoDrop ND-1000 UV-Vis Spectrophotometer. The item is used to process DNA, RNA and protein samples. Quantity: 2 ea. Specifications: 1mm path length (with auto-ranging to 0.2mm) 1 microliter sample Xenon flash lamp 2049-element linear silicon CCD array detector Wavelength accuracy: 1nm Wavelength range: 220-750 nm Wavelength resolution: 3 nm (FWHM at Hg 546 nm) Absorbance precision: .003 absorbance Absorbance accuracy: 1% (at .76 absorbance at 257 nm) Absorbance range: 0.02-75 (10mm equivalent absorbance) Detects nucleic acid down to 2 ng/microliter Measures nucleic acid up to 3700 ng.microliter (without dilution) Measurement cycle: 8-12 seconds Dimensions: 15 cm width x 20 cm depth x 12 cm height This product must comply with the Buy American Act (100% manufactured in the USA; and at least 51% of the cost of materials made, fabricated, purchased must be MADE IN THE USA.) The applicable NAICS Code is 334516 and the applicable size standard for this proposed acquisition is 500 employees.
