Description

The Directorate of Contracting at Fort Carson Colorado intends to award a task order for continuation of existing copier services at Evans Army Community Hospital using GSA Schedule GS-25F-0062L. This is a sole source award to XEROX Corporation unde r the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1), 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1), and FAR 6.302-1(a) and (b). The Government requires continued use of the following existing devices currently installed, CC20 (6 ea), CC55HG (4 ea), DC412 (1 ea), DC425 (1 ea), DC432 (45 ea), DC440 (2 ea), DOC12 (2 ea), EX12 (1 ea), P2101ST (1 ea), WC55 (1 ea), WCM20i (1 ea), WCP412 (1 ea), WCP55 (10 ea) and X12 (1 ea). The referenced devices are currently installed on Fort Carsons network infrastructure and are NAIP certified to meet Fort C arson security requirements. The multi-functional devised require the ability to copy, scan, fax and print from networked desktop computers while protecting proprietary information and preventing the unintentional releasing of guarded information. Additi onally devices must have Image Overwrite and Authentication security features. The performance period of this task order shall consist of a one year base period of performance, plus 4 one year option periods of performance should the Government choose to exercise them. The projected award date is 1 Oct 06. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 532420. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS.
