- CLARIFICATION OF LABORATORY REQUIREMENTS 3.10.4 Laboratory requirements: ?? All laboratory furnishings and equipment must be mobile (wheels or casters) with locks to prevent movement. ?? Have a Universal style metal connectors, posts and components with minimum 16 gauge roll-formed steel. ?? Leveling guides adjust from the top without lifting the legs. ?? All brackets must be made of 14 gauge steel ?? Uprights shall be available with an extended footprint to accept optional vertically mounted cable raceways for cabling and wiring concealment. ?? Cross Ties constructed of heavy duty 16-ga tubular steel with welded end plates to horizontally mount to open portion of respective uprights to create a freestanding configuration. ?? All modular equipment must be easily reconfigurable ?? All tables come standard with grommet/electrical holes ?? Mobile boards can be linked to tables and each other ?? Mobile boards require twin wheel locking casters ?? Mobile boards are double sided with one side porcelain dry erase ?? Mobile boards are constructed to prevent breakage and warping ?? Mobile board must have optional cord channel for routing to table up to 20 ft away ?? Mobile board porcelain dry erase/fabric tack board o Widths: 48", 60", 72" o Heights: 73" Mobile board legs are welded steel with bar mount between legs for stability Mobile boards exterior frames are available is at least 15 colors and fabric tack boards in at least 20 colors Mobile boards come with 10-year warranty Mobile boards have nesting capability for storage/stacking and legs must be rotatable Table tops will be a minimum 1" thick, solid construction to resist warping or breakage ?? Tested with ANSI and BIFMA office standards for construction and safety. ?? 1 lectern with audio/visual hook up ?? 10 - 5' mobile partitions with 1 solid side marker boards ?? 40 - 60"lx30d" x29(minimum)"h modular computer tables to accommodate computers and data processing rooms - laminate work surfaces for lab area and data processing rooms - ?? 14 60"LX30 ?? 60"wx30"dx30-33(adjustable)"demonstration room tables will have high quality laminate or veneer work surface for demonstration room.
