- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue an Invitation for Bid for a firm fixed-price construction contract for the East Park Road Repair. The work is located at the East Park Dam and Reservoir which are a part of the Orland Project located in the North-Central portion of California, approximately 30 miles west of Willows, California. East Park Reservoir is an intricate part of the Stony Creek Watershed and is thus operated in conjunction with the two downstream reservoirs of Stony Gorge and Black Butte. The NAICS Code is: 237990. This award is being made as a HUBZone set-aside. The magnitude of this project is estimated between $100,000 - $250,000. The proposed construction work consists of improving the braided road system by blading and graveling a single road system and reestablishing the roadside drainage ditch (approximately 5.8 miles of existing road, with an average road width of approximately 22 feet). The goal of the road improvement is to provide protection and erosion control on the existing road. Solicitation 06SI204168 will be posted at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about August 11, 2006. The estimated date for receipt of proposals is September 11, 2006. The solicitation, specification, and map must be downloaded at the above site.
