Description: Install concrete apron in front of existing 4-stall garage/storage building, located at Quarters# 3 on the Tucker Tract of Boyer Chute NWR, Fort Calhoun, Nebraska. The dimension of the concrete apron is to be 53' length, and 20' width, which is 1060 sq. ft. in total. The concrete apron must be pinned to the existing building slab with steel rebar, to prevent future movement of apron away from the building. The concrete will be poured to a 6" depth, with a layer of welded wire fabric 6 x 6 x 2.9 x 2.9. Concrete shall be 3,000 PSI, Limestone Mix Specifications, with a 4" slump. The sub-base shall be covered with 6 mil poly sheeting as a moisture barrier. Control Joints in concrete must be cut at a maximum 13'? X 10' dimension, and 1-1/2 depth. Contractor to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment associated with this project. Price magnitude of requirement is less than $25,000. Request for quote (RFQ) to be issued by 27 July 2006 with a closing date on 17 August 2006. 30 calendar day period of performance - project required to be completed as soon as possible but not later than 15 September 2006. The RFQ will be available through the Governmentwide point of entry (http:/www.fedbizopps.gov). Specifications and drawings will be attached to the solicitation. This award is restricted to small businesses. In order to receive the award a contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration at www.ccr.gov.
