- Description
- NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division has a requirement to procure one (1) step down transformer and one (1) DC 2000 motor controller to include installation for the Centrifuge-based Flight Environmental Trainer (CFET), device 9A16 in Lemoore, CA on a sole source basis to General Electric (GE) Energy Services, Concord, CA. These devices are to be delivered to the Aviation Survival Training Center, NAS Lemoore, CA 93246. The estimated contract value is $600,000 - $1,000,000 to include removal/disposal of the existing items. No contractor other than the commercial manufacturer of the above items will have the critical design data available to manufacture, deliver and install the items within the required delivery schedule. It is the Government?s intent to award on a sole source basis to the prime manufacturer, General Electric Energy Services, 2120 Diamond Blvd., Suite 100, Concord, CA 94520. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See CBD numbered note 22 (45 days is changed to read 15 days).
