- Description
- The Kootenai National Forest is soliciting proposals for upgrades at five developed recreation sites: Timberlane and McGregor Lake on the Libby Ranger District and Willow Creek, Big Eddy, and Triangle Pond on the Cabinet Ranger District. Some of the improvements include reinstalling or replacing government-furnished picnic tables, fire rings or grills, tent pads, and signs. Some individual camping spurs will be reconstructed, and large boulders will be placed as needed to control traffic. Sites will be closed or partially closed during construction. Estimated start work date is October 1, 2006 with a completion date of September 30, 2007. Price range is between $100,000 and $250,000.
