TO ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS SUBJECT: PRE-PROPOSAL WALK-THROUGH Solicitation No. GS-01P-06-NL-C-0030 Upgrade Mechanical Chilled Water Systems at the A. A. Ribicoff Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Hartford, Ct. DATE/TIME: June 7, 2006 (Wednesday) 10:00 AM LOCATION: A. A. Ribicoff Federal Building & Courthouse 450 Main Street Hartford, CT 06103 The purpose of this Pre-Proposal Walk-through conference is to provide a briefing on the contracting concept, the scope of work, and the specifications, so that offerors can ascertain the complexities of the services to be performed. The meeting will commence in the GSA Office, sixth floor, Room 635. Interested firms are requested to submit advance questions or concerns in writing by fax (401) 528-5114 or by email to frank.pfeiffer@gsa.gov at least two days prior to the date of the Pre-proposal walk-through in order to facilitate preparation of responses. Each question should clearly specify the Section, Page and Paragraph, to which it refers. Attendance at this conference is vital to the preparation of a competitive, cost effective and accurate proposal in accordance with the scope of work, specifications, and drawings. It will enable the contractor to become acquainted with the areas to be serviced, and to be aware of the specific problem areas that require special attention. Failure to attend this meeting may not be used as an excuse for omission or miscalculation in proposals. A tour of the building will be conducted after the pre-proposal conference. Cameras are not allowed in the building. As in any federal building, you will be required to pass through a metal detector. Contractors are requested to notify the Contracting Officer, Frank Pfeiffer, by fax at (401) 528-5114, or by email at frank.pfeiffer@gsa.gov, of the names of the persons who will attend the conference. Notification should be made at least two working days prior to the scheduled meeting.
