- Description
- This amendment is to change the due date of proposals to 1400, CST, 31 Jul 06. The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), Building 4545, Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500 intends to enter into a contract with Smiths Detection, Inc., 30 Hook Mountain Road, P.O. Box 410, Pine Brook, NJ 07058-9798. The contract is for the following items on GSA schedule GS-07F-9597G: four (4) each SABRE 4000 Explosive Detectors, two (2) each Smiths Heimann Hi-Scan 145-180 and one (1) each Heimann Hi-Scan 6046si. The following accessory items, that go along with the GSA items, are also required and are identified as Open Market items: four (4) each, 6-foot Motorized Roller Extensions, for Hi-Scan 145180, two (2) on-site training courses for Sabre 4000 Explosive Detector, twenty (20) each, Swabs for Sabre 4000, eight (8) each Putification Cartridges, for Sabre 4000, one (1) each Advanced Options Package #2, for Heimann Hi-Scan 6046si, and two (2) each .5M Entrance/Exit Roller Tables. Delivery is required by 2 Nov 2006. No solicitations shall be issued other than this notice. All offerors interested in submitting must fax their proposals with details to MSIC, Eileen Broady, Fax 256-313-7963 NLT 2 August 2006. Only FAXED proposals will be accepted. Direct all contractual questions to Eileen Broady at 256-313-7626.
