Description

This contract contains construction of two (2) earthen dikes to restore wetlands in Anderson County, South Carolina. Major items of work include an approximated: 3.5 acres of seeding for permanent cover; and installation of 2 dikes, each with an aluminum, corrugated flashboard riser and barrel. Each flashboard riser/barrel in the dikes is a combination of a 36 inch, half round riser and an 18 inch barrel. Performance time is 32 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this project is 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about August 14, 2006. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Meet in the parking lot at the Boundyland Exxon Station. Take Exit 11 off I-85, (Highway 24 Exit) near Townsville, South Carolina.
