Description

This is a combined/synopsis solicitation under FAR Parts 12 and 13 utilizing Simplified Acquisition procedures. The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) plans to procure contractor services on a Firm Fixed Price basis to study and provide measurements of blood nitrogen concentration and nitrogen distribution in the environment of diving mammals and provide a report on the effects sounds may have on mammal tissues. Details of the tasks involved in this requirement are listed in the attached Statement of Work: Blood Nitrogen Concentration in Diving Marine Mammals. The Government has budgeted $65,000 for this requirement. The Government reserves the right to make one award, multiple awards or no award at all. Award will be based on Approach, Past Performance and Price. Interested qualified contractors may submit their response in the form of a quote to the Contract Specialist, Shirley L.
