Description

This is a special notice as the Department of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), intends to negotiate a single source purchase order (PO) for services needed to accomplish tasks of the NOAA/National Marine Fisheries Service?s (NMFS) Office of Habitat Conservation?s with the Municipality of Anchorage, Anchorage, Alaska under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. The NOAA, NMFS has stewardship responsibility to conserve, protect and to restore habitat of living marine resources through regulatory authorities provided by the Clean Water Act and the Magnuson-Stevens Act. Tasks may include habitat protection projects in local communities, education and outreach materials, best practices and technical information on fish and fish habitat resources. This requirement will be procured in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 13, through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-11, using simplified acquisition procedures.
