Description
The U.S. Coast Guard, Maintenance Logistics Command Atlantic (MLCA), Norfolk, VA is seeking sources who can provide and install a Notifier comprehensive fire, smoke, and flooding detection system onboard the 75 Foot Class Inland Construction Tender and the associated 68 and 84 Foot Barges. This procurement requires the contractor to provide and install a Notifier AF200R fire, smoke, and flooding detection system, provide a certified Notifier factory trained representative to do the following: program and test system, provide instructions in operation, function, and maintenance procedures of the system, mark up Coast Guard drawings to clearly reflect work or deviations, and prepare a comprehensive manual of operational and maintenance instructions. Work will be performed onboard the vessel at its homepier. The USCG is performing market research to identify sources capable of providing this requirement. The solicitation or intent to contract will be released on FedBizOpps. The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 238210, and the small business size standard is $13.0 million. A set-aside determination has not yet been made. Interested parties should submit (1) a brief description of their capability to meet the requirements, (2) business size and (3) DUNS number. The business size shall include any applicable preference program (i.e. 8a, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, small business). IMPORTANT: Interested parties should provide proof of their capabilities to perform this requirement by providing a description of past contracts and/or purchase orders.
