Description

The Bureau of Prisons is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community based outpatient assessment and counseling services for Federal offenders residing at the Residential Facility in Fort Dodge, Iowa, in the 2nd Judicial District, held under authority of United States Statutes. Treatment services shall be conducted within the city limits of Fort Dodge, Iowa . Performance period under this contract will be for a one year base period to begin on October 1, 2006 with four one year option periods with services ending (if all option years are renewed) September 30, 2011. The services required for this contract include Line Item 1: Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. Base Year estimated number of inmates 6: (1) Intake Assessment ; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 Individual Units x 6 inmates = 144 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 Individual Units x 6 inmates = 432 total units; Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report x 1 inmates = 1 unit; Medication Monitoring x 1 inmates = 1 units. Option Year Two estimated number of inmates 7: (1) Intake Assessment ; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 Individual Units x 7 inmates = 168 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 Individual Units x 7 inmates = 504 total units; Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report x 1 inmates = 1 unit; Medication Monitoring x 1 inmates = 1 units. Option Year Three estimated number of inmates 8: (1) Intake Assessment ; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 Individual Units x 8 inmates = 192 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 Individual Units x 8 inmates = 576 total units; Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report x 1 inmates = 1 unit; Medication Monitoring x 1 inmates = 1 units. Option Year Four estimated number of inmates 8: (1) Intake Assessment ; Individual Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 24 Individual Units x 8 inmates = 192 total units; Group Counseling Sessions (30 minutes = 1 unit) 72 Individual Units x 8 inmates = 576 total units; Mental Health Intake Assessments and Report x 1 inmates = 1 unit; Medication Monitoring x 1 inmates = 1 units. The services described shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated October 2005. The solicitation will be available on or about August 11, 2006 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration?s Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site. The estimated closing date is on or about September 9, 2006.
