Description
(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation FA4877-06-Q-0360 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-11, effective 05 July, 2006. (iv) This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE IAW FAR 19.502 (a). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332994 and the small business size standard 500 employees. (v) Davis-Monthan Air Force Base is seeking potential offerors to provide the following: 1. 12 each: M4 (must fit Colt M41A) Conversion kit. Each conversion kit has a recessed, clearly visible marking on the carrier that is visible through the ejection port. UTM Part # 01-2117 or equal. 2. 12 each: M-249 Conversion kit. Each conversion kit has a recessed, clearly visible marking on the carrier that is visible through the ejection port. UTM Part # 01-2040 or equal. 3. 12 each: M-9 (must fit Berretta Government M9) Conversion kit. Each conversion kit has a recessed, clearly visible BLUE marking on the external chamber wall of the barrel. This provides both an optical and tactile mark in the chamber area. UTM Part # 01-2008 or equal. 4. 15 each: Face masks. Includes thermal properties. UTM Part # 69-0293 or equal. 5. 15 each: Goggles. Protective polycarbonate glasses and goggles specifically designed to meet the needs of tactical teams. Meets ANSI standards for impact resistance. UTM Part # 69-0294 or equal. 6. 15 each: Gloves. Full finger. Padding on the knuckle area. Synthetic leather palm. UTM Part # 69-0295L or equal. (vi) The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?
