Description
CSC Applied Technologies LLC (CSC) contemplates issue of an UNFUNDED Invitation For Bid (UIFB) for Repair Kegelman Interior and Perimeter Fence at Kegelman AAF, N. of Jet, OK as solicitation number UIFB095B. Funds are not currently available for this solicitation and have not been promised or guaranteed. There shall be no legal liability on the part of the Government or CSC should funding not be provided. In the absence of funding no contract will result. CSC reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the opening date in the absence of funding. Offerors will be required to provide for an acceptance period which extends through 31 December 2006. Bid bonds in an amount of 20% of offer, issued by an acceptable surety listed in Federal Circular 570, must accompany all offers and will be held for the entire acceptance period should funds not be readily forthcoming. It is recommended that offerors carefully consider the impact on their bonding capacity for the applicable acceptance period if an offer is anticipated. MBEB 07-1016R , Repair Kegelman Interior and Perimeter Fence consists of providing a metes and bounds survey of the property; a. Pinning, place monuments, and register all corners of the property. b. Place iron pins at 1000 foot maximum intervals along the non street property line, along the right of way line along public roadways, and along the interior fence line, and at points where the fence line crosses section lines. c. Place three pins and monuments for control points adjacent to the main runway. d. Providing information listed in section 13882 ?Surveying,? on each pin, monument and control point. b. Project consists of providing and installing security fencing: 1. Clear, grub and compact along the fence route to make way for the fence, with working and vehicle movement clearance inside and out to property line or roadway. 2. After pining and installing monuments at the property corners in A. above, construct a security fencing around the base and a north-south interior fence, with a concrete mow strip, and new and extensions to varying sizes of existing drainage structures; chain link fencing with gates; grading and smoothing of a grass covered traffic way; and all work in accordance with the plans and specifications to provide a complete and functioning security project. Also included in fence work is the construction of security specific devices shown on the drawings, to block intrusion through culvert pipes and drainage structures.
