Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Aberdeen Proving Ground has a requirement for commercial items as follows: CLIN 0001:1 each High Resolution Double Focusing Mass Spectrometer System; 002: 1 each Spare Ion; 0003: 1 each C hiller; 0004: 1 each TriPlus Autosampler; 0005: 1 each DIP Base Unit; 0006: 1 each Direct Inlet Probe; 0007: 1 each DCI-Inlet Probe; 0008: Extended Warranty; 0009: 1 each Trace GC Ultra w/S/SL Coupling; 0010: 1 each Transformer; 0011: 1 each Data System Ta ble; 0012: 1 each Headspace Injection Option; 0013: 1 each Peltier Cooled/Heated Tray; 0014: On-site Training. All Clins shall be delivered FOB Destination to Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland 21005. Offeror must have items on current GSA Schedule. Compe tition shall be Open to GSA schedule holders. The equipment is required for analysis of very small amounts and concentrations of chemical agents, precursors and breakdown products. Evaluation procedures will be lowest priced technically acceptable offer, past performance considered. Only offers of vendors in good standing shall be considered for this FFP commercial award. Standard non-DoD GSA contract FAR Clauses and Provisions apply to this acquisition. This combined synopsis/solicitation is announced as an RFQ (Request for Quotation). Responses are due at the US Army Contracting Agency, ATTN: SFCA-NR-APC-T (Jo Ann Hayes), 4118 Susquehanna Avenue, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013 NLT 2 August 2006 at 8:00 AM EST. Offers may be delivered electro nically, Fax'd to (410) 306-3726, or mailed to arrive by the closing date. Offers must be signed and dated by an authorized representative. Verbal offers will not be accepted.
