Description

Requirement for award of a firm-fixed price requirements contract to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to perform demolition of buildings, bridges, piers and shelters at Fort McCoy, WI in accordance with specifi cations, drawings and conditions contained in the Invitation for Bid. Work includes, but may not be limited to removal and disposal of all items as shown on the drawings and in the specifications, hazardous material demolition, site preparation, environm ental controls, excavation, filling, landscape preparation and seeding. The term of the contract will be one year with a government option to extend for 1 option year. The project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 (including the option year). A 20% bid bond is required. Payment and performance bonds will be required after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238910 with a small business size standard of $13 Million. This Invitation for Bid will be solicited as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set-Aside. Bidding documents will be available electronically at www.fedbizops.gov on or about 14 August 2006. Telephonic, written, faxed, or electronic request for hard copies of proposal documents will be denied. Interested parties must access the web page for issuance of the Invitation for Bid, associated documents, and any amendments that may be issued. Contractors will NOT be directly notified of amendments. The Bid due date will be approximately 30 days after issuance (initial posting on website) as indicated on Invitation for Bid. All bidding forms, bid bonds, and other documents required for bid submittal shall be in paper medium. Electronic submission of proposal documents will NOT be allowed. All re sponsible service disabled veteran owned small business sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered.
