Description

This is a Notcie OF Intent to Award a Sole Source Purchase Order using the simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 to: HEXAGON METROLOGY. SHEFFIELD MEASUREMENT INC. for the procurement of SOFTWARE FOR THE STARRETT Coordinate Measuring Machin es (CMM) is deemed the sole developer, distributor, and trainer for this software. INTENTION: The supplies/services required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible sources under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1). Interested sources may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotes. All quotations received within 3 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be consi dered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to comp ete with this proposed purchase order/contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement .
