Description

Mechanical Parts for the AN/VVS-2 Drivers Night Vision Viewer.*** This is not a solicitation.This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below.This is a compatibility market survey to locate potential sources of supply for mechanical parts used with the AN/VVS-2( ) Drivers Night Vision Viewer.The parts are the following: MOUNT ASSEMBLY; 5855-01-096-9294;SM-D-771473-1;PLATE ASSEMBLY;5855-01-122-9416; SM-D-771474-1;MOUNT ASSEMBLY;5855-01-122-2915;SM-D-771473-3;VIEWER MOUNT;5855-01-408-1786;5005816;HOUSING ASSEMBLY;5855-01-122-9417; SM-D-771456-1;PLATE ASSEMBLY-TOOL; 5855-01- 143-2891;SM-D-771492;MAIN HOUSING ASSY;5855-01-047-9267;SM-D-771335-1. The AN/VVS-2 drivers viewer enables a closed-hatch vehicle to be driven during nighttime conditions without active illumination.The drivers viewer is a through-the-hull/hatch night periscope for armored vehicles.The government intends to purchase this pa rt using an indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery (IDIQ) contract over a five-year period.The following information provides a range breakout.The specified ranges will apply to all five (5) years of this contract as follows: Range A:15-100; Range B:101-300. No First Article Testing will be required, only production testing.The spares shall be delivered within 120 days after award at a rate of 15 units/month until completion, as a minimum.The drawings will be posted on the Inte ractive Opportunities Web Page (IBOP).The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry (ASFI), to allow electronic posting of Solicitations for Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFB s) from C-E LCMC to Industry. All parties who are interested in doing business with C-E LCMC are invited to access the drawings from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Active, under the heading CECOM, Market Research, Logon & View by Army Contracting Activity, and then click on GO. The contractor shall also provide an estimate of his best delivery schedule.The contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequat e production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, and space) to enable him, or his subcontractors, to produce this item.Identification of the contractor as a Large or a Small Business. If a Small Business, please identify as an 8(a), HUBZone, Disadvantag ed, Women-Owned, or non-disadvantaged.Past Performance for these or similar items. The contractor shall submit their part numbers, NSN, or nomenclature and the date of the last manufacturing effort of the same or similar items for which they have producti on experience. Government contract numbers, if applicable, shall be provided.
