Description

Contractor to provide all materials, equipment, supplies, labor and supervision necessary to perform the work for Project #692-330(R), entitled “Replace Dom Beds Bldgs. 215 & 216” at the Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center & Clinics, White City, Oregon. Scope of work includes the construction of a new single story domiciliary bed building approximately 20,000 square feet and includes architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, sitework, pavement patching, landscaping and certain other items as shown in the contract documents and drawings. NAICS: 236220, Size standard $31.0 mil. Project magnitude: Between $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. Solicitation documents will be available in electronic form on or about August 7, 2006, with a bid opening to be held approximately September 7, 2006. Sixty (60) calendar day bid acceptance period required, award subject to the availability of funds. Electronic solicitations may be obtained FREE at either of the following websites: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ or http://www.fbo.gov/. Offerors will need to click on solicitation VA-692-06IB0004 to download the documents. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at either of these web addresses. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments, so it is essential that offerors register on the bidders mailing list for this solicitation to receive notifications of any amendments that may be issued. All offerors will need to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database (www.ccr.gov), and registration must be current. This solicitation is unrestricted for full and open competition. If award is made to a large firm, then the following information is provided on subcontracting goals: 23% SB (Small Business), 5% (SDB) Small Disadvantaged Business, 5% (WOSB) Women-Owned Small Business, 3% Hubzone, 7% (VOSB) Veteran Owned Small Business.
