- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The AMC Specialized Contracting Branch intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and 13. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran Small Business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 334220 with a Small Business Size Standard of 750 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The solicitation number for this announcement is Request for Proposal (RFP) FA4452-06-Q-A114. This requirement is for Thrane & Thrane TT3080A Capsat Messenger Satellite Telephones, with the following features: Antenna: Directional patch array antenna. Manually adjustable elevation setting. Voice: 4.8 Kbps AMBE, 64 kbps broadcast. Async: Data Rate; 2.4 kbps, 56 kbps and 64 kbps (ensure 64 kbps is enabled). Euro IDSN Interface: IDSN NT1 S/T bus, ITU-T 1.430, ISO 8877 compliant RJ 45 connector. Antenna Connector: 50W QLA. Standard AC Adapter: 90-264 VAC, 47-63 Hz, 65W. Ambient Temperature: -25C to +55C operating; -40C to +80C storage. Mechanical Shock: 20g/11ms half-sine. Antenna Cable: QLA/QLA male, max. cable loss 10 dB at 1.66 gHz, 0.7W at DC. Rx Frequency Band: 1525.0 ? 1559.0 MHz, Tx Frequency Band: 1626.5 ? 1660.6 MHz. Channel Spacing: 1.25 kHz. Rx Modulation: 5.6 kbps O-QPSK, SCPC (voice, data, fax), 6 kbps BPSK-TDM 134.4 kbps 16 QAM, SCPC (data). The quantity is 11 each. Delivery of all items is to be made to Scott AFB, IL within 30 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. Total cost shall include all shipping and handling. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
