Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology has an ongoing requirement for fire extinguisher and fire detection/protection equipment maintenance. The Government anticipates a contract for a base period of one year and four (4) one year option periods. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to provide support services in accordance with the statement of work. The solicitation number is SB1341-06-R-0007. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A TOTAL SET ASIDE FOR SMALL SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED BUSINESSES. The NAICS code is 561621, Security Systems Services (Except Locksmiths). This competitive procurement will be conducted using negotiated procedures under the authority of FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. The solicitation, Request for Proposal (RFP) is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about February 15, 2006 and will only be available via the internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. The RFP, all attachments, RFP amendments, and questions and answers related to the procurement shall only be available via the Internet. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation available. Telephone requests will not be honored and no bidders list will be maintained. Potential offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to Albert.Petto@nist.gov.
