- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to procure a contractor capable of providing technical consultation and support services. The purpose of this project shall be to perform targeted literature reviews and to develop a documented summary of the reviewed literature, outlining relevant information from each article reviewed. The project will support the CDC Division of Cancer Prevention and Control (DCPC) This is a simplified acquisition; therefore, the successful contractor will be awarded a Purchase Order. The Request for Quote (RFQ) Number 2006-Q-08894 will be available from this website only within 24 hours of this posting. Questions regarding this procurement can be e-mailed to mnichols@cdc.gov. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussion with Offerors capable of providing the requested service. Therefore, the initial offer should contain the offeror?s best price from a technical and price standpoint. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 541690 and the Size Standard is 6,000,000 dollars for this requirement. This requirement is a small business set-aside. Interested contractors should submit one (1) copy of the quotation to the address indicated below. The quotation shall include the itemized price, prompt payment terms, the F.O.B. Point (Destination or Origin) Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), Dun & Bradstreet Number (DUNs) and descriptive literature of the product quoted. This action is pursuant to 41 USC 253(1) and under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The quotation must reference Solicitation Number RFQ 2006-Q-08894. Quotations will be due ten (10) calendar days from the publication date of this synopsis or August 10, 2006, by 4:30pm eastern standard time, whichever is later. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely will be considered by the agency. Quotations must be submitted in writing to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 2920 Brandywine Road, Atlanta, GA 30341, Attention: Maria Nichols. E-Mail quotations will be accepted if dated and signed by an authorized company representative to: mnichols@cdc.gov. Facsimile quotes will not be accepted. Attn: Maria Nichols and the RFQ 2006-Q-08894, shall be clearly marked on all correspondence in response to this solicitation.
