Description

This serves as a ?Notice of Intent? for Hanscom AFB, MA to issue a purchase order, IAW FAR 13.106-1 (b), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Research Systems, Inc. on a Sole Source basis to purchase ENVI/IDL maintenance/upgrades in the processing and exploitation of hyperspectral data. Upgrades/maintenance consists of 6 IDL Unix Floating Networks, 5 IDL Windows Floating Networks, 1 IDL PC-Unix Node Locked, 1 ENVI-IDL Unix Floating and 1 IDL Windows Node Locked. Shipping: FOB Destination. This requirement is determined to be available from only one source because of the unique features and proprietary nature of the system. No formal request will be issued for this procurement. All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this notice for additional information and/or to communicate concerns, if any, concerning this acquisition. Research Systems, Inc. DBA ITT Visual Information Solutions is the manufacturer of these licenses and FAR Part 12 applies. Research Systems is a large business. This requirement will be solicited as unrestricted.
