Description
-Total Dollar Amount Being Proposed: $25.0 million -Number of Contracts being Proposed: One -Area of Coverage: Omaha District Customers -Period of Performance: 2-year Base Period; with a 3-year Option Period -Requirement Support: The contract will ensure that the Omaha District Corps of Engineers can meet the growing demand for DOD Military Munitions Response Program (MMRP) services in the United States and abroad -The pending Indefinite Delivery-type (IDT) contract is being issued to address DOD Military Munitions Response Program requirements for Army Corps of Engineers (Omaha District) customers. All services under this contract vehicle will be provided under NAI CS Code 541360 (Geophysical Surveying and Mapping Services). The contract will include firm-fixed price elements, for a wide a wide range of geophysical mapping services in the United States and abroad. To meet the IDT contract requirements, the contractor who is awarded the IDT contract must be able to comprehensively perform airborne and land-based remote sensing, geophysical mapping, as well as other associated activities as necessary. -Project-specific task orders will be issued under the basic contract. Each task order will define the performance requirements for the contractor. Issued task orders may use performance-based Scope of Works. Performance-based Scope of Works are written to give contractors the freedom to determine how to meet the Governments performance objectives and provides contractor payment only when the results meet or exceed the governments objectives. Performance-based Scope of Works emphasize performance that can be contractually defined so that the results of the contractors effort can be measured in terms of technical and quality achievement, schedule progress, or cost performance.
