Description

The Seattle District US Army Corps of Engineers requires a 61 foot pile timber dolphin 20x20 feet footprint situated at the far east end of the pier at the approach to the large lock chamber as boats enter from Lake Washington. Original construction was in 1968. Project involves removal of 65 foot long vertical piles minimum 15 feet penetration into channel bottom and replacement with steel pipe and bumper system similar to what exists on WADOT ferry systems. Project is set aside for service-disabl e veteran(s). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $31 million. For the purposes of this procurement, a firm is a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $31 million.
