Description: The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency intends to issue a sole source contract to the University of California Los Angeles, 200 Medical PLZ, Los Angeles, CA 9005-1763 to adapt and develop a current advanced automated mathematical technique known as ?In-Painting? employed to connect gaps in linear features such as roads generated by road-following algorithms. This effort includes extending currently developed mathematical methods, conducting feasibility studies of the applicability of other sensor modalities, and development and delivery of a software prototype.
