Description

Vermiculite in accordance with ASTM C 516 Type 1 super fine Certification of Conformance is required. Special Packaging Required the weight of each bag shall be in accordance with ASTM C 516 unless otherwise specified. The vermiculite shall be pack aged in the manufacturers standard commerical container but shall not exceed 29 pounds. One pallet stacked 6 bags high with 18 bags total double stacked with a pallet stacked 5 bags high with 15 bags total for a grand total of 33 bags and two pallets per stack. There shall be a slip sheet placed between these pallets and then shrink wrapped in the middle to prevent shifting during transportation. Government yearly estimated quantity at 264,200 pounds. Delivery shall be FOB destination, McAlester Army Amm unition Plant. A blanket purchase agreement BPA for a period of one year will be awarded as a result of this request. The BPA will establish a unit price for awarded quantities. No guaranteed minimum quantity. Any awarded quantities will be issued as ind ividual call orders against the resulting BPA. Call orders will also establish delivery for any awarded quantities. Approximate issue date is 03 August with the closing date approximately 14 Aug 06. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accor dance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102. Any changes to the solicitation will also be posted to this web site and is the contract ors responsibility to check this site daily for any posted change.
