Description

Solicitation FA6606-06-B-0001 for Project YTPM 01-3005, Repair Runway 33 Apron, consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, devices, tools, materials, transportation, supervision and all miscellaneous services required to accomplish the following work: Cold milling of existing deteriorated bituminous pavement, crack sealing and placement of new Hot-Mixed Asphalt (HMA) overlay to repair and rehabilitate the existing apron. The Contractor shall install the new HMA overlay, isolation joints and pavement markings in accordance with the drawings and specifications. THIS SOLICITATION IS BEING SOLICITED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SMALL BUSINESS COMPETITIVENESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM. Replies to this notice are requested from all qualified contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers. Bid issue will be on 12 May 2006. Bid opening will be on 20 June 2006. Performance Period will be 60 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. The NAICS (North American Industry Classification System) Code is 237310. The small business size standard applicable to this project is $31,000,000.00.Telephone request will not be honored. It is our intent to post the solicitation on this web site and the technical data at www.fedteds.gov. Paper copies WILL NOT be issued. Plans and specifications will be available for examination without charge at the Operational Contracting Office, 250 Airlift Drive Westover Air Reserve Base, and Chicopee, MA 01022.
