Description

Primary POC: Kimberly Majetic--kimberly.majetic@dla.mil The Defense Supply Center Richmond, (DSCR), the lead center for aviation for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), intends to award a sole source Performance Based Logistics Contract (PBL) to McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of the Boeing Company (Boeing), Cage 76301 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. This integrated effort is part of a coordinated approach between DLA and the United States Air Force (AF)to support the F-15, with the ultimate goal of increasing flight hours per aircraft and reducing life cycle costs for the platform. The Boeing Company will provide increased material availability, improved forecasting, obsolescence management, increased reliability, engineering support and systme maintenance at the reduced life cycle cost. NAICS 336143 applies. This Notice of Intent is not a request for Competitive Offers in accordance with FAR 15.201(3), and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract, however, any firm that believes it can meet the specifications above may give written notification to the Acquisition Specialist. Interested firms must also provide detailed documentation to support their ability to provide the above listed requirements to this office within 15 days. All information received that is marked "Proprietary" will be handled accordingly. Responses received will be evaluated, however, a determination by the Government no to compete the proposed procurement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
