Description

This contract contains construction of 15 (fifteen) no net fill road crossings and one ditch type crossing for the restoration of wetlands in Georgetown County, South Carolina. Major items of work include an approximated: 1,340 sq yds of geotextile; 330 tons of rockfill; and 20 tons of rock riprap for the construction of road crossings. Performance time is 41 calendar days (including mobilization). The estimated price is in the range of $25,000 to $100,000. This solicitation is subject to full and open competition. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. This solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizzops.gov, on or about August 18, 2006. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. Directions to the site showing are as follows: If you are coming from Andrews, South Carolina, take Main Street through the center of town to the Exxon Station which is at a fork in the road. Turn left onto Gapeway Road, and follow Gapeway to Etheridge Road. Turn left onto Ethreridge and the WRP site will be on the left. If you are coming from Georgetown, South Carolina, follow 521/Highmarket Street towards Andrews, South Carolina. Turn right on Kent Road, and follow Kent to the end of the road, and turn right onto Gapeway and then left onto Ethreidge. The WRP site will be on Ethreidge Road on the left.
