- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6-Streamlined procedures for evaluation and solicitation for commercial items-as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is being issued using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under the authority of FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested, and a written solicitation document will not be issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 05-11. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334119 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The proposed contract action is for replacement LCD bulb assemblies and incidental spare parts for Western Area Power Administration???s map board/video wall manufactured by Clarity Visual Systems. Clarity Visual Systems is the actual manufacturer of the map board/video wall and holds proprietary data rights to the bulb assemblies. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate a contract for these bulb assemblies with authorized resellers of Clarity Visual Systems. Reference FedBizOpps Numbered Note #22. FOB Point of Delivery is Loveland, Colorado 80539. Award will be made to the offeror who provides the best value to the Government. Award will be based on price.
