Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is RFQ60052 and solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-11. This is a small business set-aside. The NAICS is 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. The National Institute on Drug Abuse on behalf of the National Institute of Mental Health has a requirement for 216 HumanHap 550 Whole Genome Genotyping Kits with the ability to process 550,000 loci. MODIFICATION ONE TO THE ANNOUNCEMENT INCREASES THE NUMBER OF KITS FROM 216 TO 312. THE DUE DATE AND TIME FOR RESPONSES IS EXTENDED THROUGH AUGUST 4, 2006 12 PM. Delivery and acceptance will be performed at 10 Center Drive Bethesda, Maryland. Period of performance will be for one year. FOB point is Destination. The turnaround time is 7 weeks from order placement to delivery. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, is applicable. Specific evaluation criteria (1) past performance (2) ability to meet the technical requirements and (3) evidence of meeting delivery dates. Offerors must include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items, with its offer. Clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Condition Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The quotations are due August 2, 2006 3:00 PM EST and will be submitted to Susan A. Nsangou, Contracting Officer, 31 Center Drive, Room 1B59, Bethesda, Maryland 20892.
