- Description
- The 30th Contracting Squadron, Vandenberg AFB, CA intends to award a sole source, service contract with BioMerieux, Inc., 100 Roldophe St., Durham, N.C. 27712. This acquisition has one CLIN to provide the following: CLIN 0001: The contractor will provide reagent rental service for the 30th MDG, to include: necessary training for personal to use the equipment, and provide a user-friendly computer system that can interface with CHCS. The applicable NAICS for this acquisition is 339111. The business size is $6,500,000. The period of performance is from 1 Oct 2006 to 30 Sep 2007, to include 3 one-year option periods. The proposed contract is for items the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the Authority of FAR 13.106(b). This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. All questions must be submitted in writing no later than 14 Aug 2006. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
