Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912LD-06-T-0059 and is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are in effect through Federal Acquisi tion Circular 2005-10. The Rhode Island Army National Guard has a requirement for the rental of Hotel Rooms, in the vicinity of Florence, AZ, in order to accommodate a maximum of 200 individuals for the period of 15 August 2006 through 30 August 2006. T he breakdown (individuals) is as follows: 120 individuals for the period of 15 August to 27 August 2006 and an additional 80 individuals for the period of 28 August to 30 August, 2006 = a total of 200 individuals at any given time during the performance p eriod. Offerors are to provide a room/occupancy breakdown (i.e. single, double, triple occupancy). Also, a conference room, capable of accommodating 200 individuals for the period of 15 August to 30 August 2006 is needed. In addition to the hotel rooms and conference/meeting room, catered box lunches and catered hot meals will be required for the individuals. The meal breakdown is as follows: catered hot dinner for 130 individuals for the period of 15 August to 27 August 2006 and catered hot dinner for an additional 70 individuals for the period of 28 August to 31 August 2006 = a total of 200 individuals at any given time during the performance period that is to be served at the hotel dining facility between 6:00PM and 7:00PM . Catered box lunches for 130 individuals for the period of 15 August to 27 August 2006 and an additional 70 individuals for the period of 28 August to 31 August 2006 = a total of 200 individuals at any given time during the performance period that is to be prepared and delivered t o UTES, 600 E. Track Road, Florence, AZ 85232 facility not later than 12NOON. Offerors are to submit their menu with their proposal. Note: If contractor is unable to deliver the catered box lunches and the Government must pick-up the boxed lunches, plea se indicate this on your written proposal.
