Description

The BLM has a requirement for a Class I and III Cultural Resource Inventory (CRI) of the project area designated on the attached Map (Exhibit A, Map 1). Acres for the project area total approximately 1,411 acres. A Class I file search will be completed for all the project area. Approximately 1,411 acres will require a 100% Class III pedestrian inventory survey (see Map 1). The purpose of the inventory is to identify, record, and evaluate for the National Register of Historic Places, historic and prehistoric properties within the project area. Data derived from this project will be used for compliance with the requirements of Section 106 of the National Preservation Act, as amended, the National BLM Programmatic Agreement, and the 1998 BLM Protocol with the Colorado State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO). This requirement is open to Total Small Business Set Asides. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $50,000.00. The solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at www.fedbizopps.gov. Bidders may print the bid documents to submit their bid by mail, or bids may be submitted electronically. Facsimile bids will also be accepted. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about 08/02/2006. Contractors are required to register or update their registration at the Central Contractor Registration website at www.ccr.gov in order to receive a contract award under this solicitation.
