- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR STRUCTURAL STRENGTH TEST BRANCH DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM ASSEMBLY. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to answer questions and ammend a part number and the quantity required. 1. The quantity stated in the RFQ is amended to reflect the fact that we need 11 systems built. The total number of data systems required is 11. The SOW specifies the parts required and directions to assemble only 1 system. We need that system built 11 times. 2.Question: While looking at the part no. we have the following questions/comments so far: Part number 779514-01 is not available Part number 7776572-26 is not available Part number 779709-01 is not available 777966-20 do you need 32 units of this part No.? Answer: 1) 779514-01 is the National Instruments part number for a custom developed thermocouple connector interface and does not yet appear on the NI web site. 2) 7776572-26 is not called out in the SOW. 777572-26 is called out and I see that there has been a typo. The part number should be 776572-26 to match the SCXI-1126 8 channel freq input module. 3) 779709-01is the National Instruments part number for a custom developed strain gage completion and connector interface and does not yet appear on the NI web site. 4) Each assembly does indeed require 32 units of 777966-20. A completed assembly will contain 256 channels of strain gage/bridge/voltage input. The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 7/31/06. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
