Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an unrestricted requirement that shall be awarded as a firm fixed price contract under Solicitation Number W9124N-06-R-0009. ACA, Southern Region, Directorate of Contracting Pres idio of Monterey, CA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, under the authority of 6.303-2 with Americal Systems INC, 920 Country Club Drive, Suite 1C, Moraga, CA for: Item 1: 6 Sanako Lab 300 Software Licenses. Item 2: 6 Software License Upgrade f or Lab 250 to Lab 300. Item 3: Site License for Sanako Study 500 Classroom Management Software to include 1 + 3 years maintenance, on site Tech Rep for one year and training DLI Trainers. Item 4: 4000 EA Language Lab Headsets PN: SLH-05. Item 5: So ftware upgrade for 1 + 3 years Sanako Lab 300 software and Item 6: 472 Sanako Study 1200 software licenses to include 1 + 3 years software upgrades. The software shall be sent FOB Destination, Monterey, CA with in 8 weeks after receipt of order. Offers are due not later than 4:00 P.M. PST on August 22, 2006 and shall be submitted electronically to Malissa.williams@monterey.army.mil. All interested parties may identify their interest and capability to fulfill this requirement by responding with a proposal by August 22, 2006. All responses will be considered by the Government. However, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed acquisition based upon responses received is solely with in the discretion of the Contracting Officer. The sy nopsis/solicitation document and its incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular through 2005-11. The SIC code is 5045. The FSC is 7030. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) is 42343 0. The following Provision and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial items, and 52.212-2 Evaluation of Commercial Items; EVALUATION CIRITERIA / PROCEDURES: Offers will be evaluated based on the following best va lue criteria in order of importance: Providing the specified product without substitution is more important than, delivery and price. Delivery and price are equal in importance, as prices offered become more equal delivery becomes more important. Offeror s shall include a completed copy of FAR Provision 52.212-3 Offerors Representations and Certification Commercial Items, applicable to this acquisition and furnish Offerors Federal Tax Identification Number, Cage Code, and DUNS Number with this offer.
