Description
CONTACT Wayne LaFerrara, Electronics Engineer, 732-532-9231. This is not a solicitation. This is only an estimate and will not bind the contractor or the Government in any way or at any time into a contract with any of the specified terms below. This is a market survey to locate potential sources with the capability to refurbish and upgrade 23 Government owned signal scanners from obsolete model number TD-1104/GSC, NSN 5985-00-256-6317, part number SM-D-571938 to model number TD-1104A/GSC, NSN 5985-01 -444-5370, part number A3194584. There is a detailed Technical Data Package (TDP) for the obsolete model (TD-1104/GSC). However, no TDP or any how to engineering data exists for the refurbished model. Drawing A3194584 only contains performance specificat ions for the end item signal scanner. For a copy of the drawing package via CD ROM, contact Wayne LaFerrara, Electronics Engineer, (732)532-9231, email: wayne.laferrara@us.army.mil. Pre-production testing shall be required for the first signal scanner prod uced. This requirement is waived for suppliers who have delivered TD-1104A/GSC via previous contracts with the government. Interested sources must send the following information, NLT 25 Aug 06 to The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Manageme nt Command, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-S-TB (Wayne LaFerrara), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703 or email to the address above. It is essential that potential contractors provide estimated pricing for the 23 units. The contractor shall also provide an estimate of his best d elivery schedule. Further, the contractor must provide information to show that he possesses, or shall possess, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, space) and technical expertise to enable him, or his subcontractors to refurbish and u pgrade this item.
