Description
The project consists of site preparation, site work, and construction of an 11,453 sf (approx.137 x 86) pre-engineered, processing facility. The building will have three drive-through bays approximately 20ft. wide, and four associated offices, re strooms, and a break room to support the activity. The building will have 20ft. clearance throughout the processing bays, with no interior columns. Roll up overhead doors will be provided at the end of each bay. The doors will be approximately 16ft wide wi th 17ft. clearance. Two concrete pit type truck scales will be provided in the building. The scales will be monitored electronically from one of the offices. Offices will be fully functional with interior finishes, computer connections, power and lighting, etc. The building will require a fire suppression system. Site work will consist of grading, drainage, storm water management, sediment and erosion controls, concrete paved hardstand, chain link fencing, utilities, power and communications, coordination with private utility providers, force protection measures, and construction of a fueling / de-fueling station consisting of two 1,000 gallon above ground storage tanks (ASTs) with electrical pumping system and controls. The system will be erected on a con crete containment pad equipped with a valved drainage system and associated oil water separator. The concrete hardstand will be approximately 3,870 sq. yards of 10 inch, 650psi flexural strength concrete pavement, including crack control joints, and joint sealing. A seven foot chain link fence will secure the facility. Landscaping and turf will compliment the facility and comply with sustainability criteria. The magnitude of construction is estimated to be between $2,500,000.00 and $3,000,000.00. The d uration of the contract is 360 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Government reserves the right to reject any or all proposal prior to award; to negotiate with any or all proposers.
