Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a contract on a sole source basis with Joint Program Office, 47123 Buse Rd., Patuxent River, MD 20670-1547 for an Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) for the V-22 Pylon Conversion Actuator Trailer Adapter for delivery to NAVAIR Lakehurst Aircraft Support Equipment Staging Area, Rte 547 Bldg. 195 (Hangar 6) Lakehurst, NJ 08733-4851. The Navy intends to procure this effort under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (C)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 Firms that believe they can satisfy this requirement are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which may be considered by the Navy in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Navy not to open the requirement to competition, based upon the response(s) to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Navy. A solicitation is not available for this procurement. This effort will commence within approximately 30 days after the date of subsequent contract.
