- Description: Furnish all labor, supervision, tools, equipment, transportation, materials and incidentals necessary to remove & dispose of existing diesel engine and replace it with a totally functional diesel engine including fabrication and installation of a radiator shroud & louvers along with related materials. All work is to conducted in strict accordance with the statement of work, terms and conditions of the contract which includes fuel storage tank removal, disposal & contractor purchased replacement & installation of a new fuel storage tank. A site visit is to take place on or about 12/12/00. Please call the point of contact to leave your company name, the individual to attend to expedite access onto the base for the site visit. The magnitude of this purchase is between $10,000.00 and $50,000. SIC Code is 1799, NAICS Code is 23599. The size standard is $7,000,000.00. This solicitation is a 100% small business set aside. The entire solicitation will be released solely on Electronic Posting Service, www.eps.gov (paper copies will not be available). Any prospective bidders interested in bidding this solicitation MUST register in order to be placed on the bidder_s list. Include your company name, address, telephone number, and point of contact (POC) fax number, and e-mail address. Bidders registering their name on the source list should not conclude that they would receive a paper copy of the solicitation in the mail, as a paper will not be available. All prospective bidders are responsible to visit the EPS frequently to obtain any amendments or other information pertaining to this solicitation. The solicitation, attachments, bidders lists will only be available by downloading the documents from the EPS. Bids containing any changes to the Performance Work Statement will render the bid package invalid. The closing date for proposal will be 19 DEC. 00. A complete copy of the solicitation package will be available for viewing in the lobby of our contracting building located at 6500 B St. Beale AFB, California. The solicitation package will be available for download as word document. Any changes to solicitation documents will render them invalid. Bids containing any changes will be rejected. Contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration in order to receive a contract award from any DOD Activity. Contractors may access the CCR at http://ccr.edi.disa.mil.
