SIC code 3569, Centrifuge, Explosion Proof This is a combined synopsis/ solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation F04666-03-T-0123 is issued as a Request for Quote using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Description: Centrifuge, Explosion Proof, SIC 3569. Manufacturer: Bock Engineered Products Model: 755 OR EQUAL Description: Explosion Proof Centrifuge from Bock Engineered Products, Inc. as described below, or equal. The centrifuge must be designed to remove solvents and other hazardous materials/contaminants from rags, pads, barriers etc., made of cloth, foam rubber, and other absorbent, reusable materials. Model 755 Explosion Proof Centrifuge 100 lbs. Maximum dry weight capacity Basket: 30” diameter X 16” high RPM – 1750 Wetted Surfaces: 304 Stainless Steel Drive System: electro-hydraulic Controls: pneumatic Pneumatic safety interlock system Timer: pneumatic 0 – 10 minute Starter: mounted in explosion proof box Motor: 5 horsepower (explosion proof) Pneumatic requirement: 80 psi /1 cfm 230 volts / 60 cycles / 3 phase NEMA – Class 1, Group D Centrifuge System shall be skid mounted with leveling pads. Explosion proof compressor and tank mounted on skid.
