What is the latest bid closing date? In the RFQ the date is Aug14th, but on fbo web site the closing date is Aug 25th. Answer: proposal due date remains August 25, 2006 to 2:00 p.m. eastern standard time. 2. Do you require 24x7x365 support for both database and application systems? If yes, do you have any support matrix (call schedule, callback and ticket logging procedures) that we can follow or we can propose our own? Answer: BEA does not require around-the-clock support for most software applications, however it should be noted that BEA expects a contractor to be willing to fix any mission critical, production problems during off-hours if it would be detrimental to BEA's mission and public image to delay until normal business hours to correct the problem. 3. How many resources do you require\expect for each task order and overall for the contract? From objective 1 and 2 in the RFP is not entirely clear how many people can or should be involved in this process. Our initial assessment is that this is 3-6 people project. Answer: BEA estimates the resources required for Objectives 1 and 2 are approximately 2 to 6 people. 4. How many consultants and\or government employees are performing the functions described in the RFP at the moment? Answer: Three (3) full-time and one (1) part-time contractor staff; part-time is approximately 80%. 5. Is there an incumbent contractor? If so, what is the name and address of the incumbent? Answer: Yes. Metzger Consulting Inc. 7500 Woodmont Avenue, Suite 1021, Bethesda, Maryland 20814 6. Can contractors meet any technical staff to find more details on this procurement? Answer: There will be no meeting and greeting of technical staff. 7. What supplies would be needed in this contract? Answer: No contractor-provided supplies are necessary.
