Description
Description (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation, and written copies of this solicitation will not be provided. Quotes are being requested. FOB Destination. The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) using FAR Part 13. (ii) The solicitation number is VLC6MRQ0012A. This requirement is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) (iii) This RFQ and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-12. (iv) This solicitation is being issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493190, and the size standard is $21,000,000 (v) The Contract Line Item Number and item, quantities, and units of measure are: CLIN 0001 ? (OPTION) QTY: 12 UNIT OF ISSUE: MO UNIT PRICE: $_______ TOTAL: $ ________ (vi) The contractor shall provide a storage facility for Herman Miller Office Furniture. The facility shall be within a five-mile radius of 188 Harvest Lane Williston, VT 05495 and the storage area shall be approximately 3500 ft in size. The facility shall have an electronic web-based inventory management system that will allow the contractor to configure components utilizing furniture pieces currently in storage at the Government?s request. The Contractor shall be required to pick up furniture to be stored from the Law Enforcement Service Center (LESC) located at 188 Harvest Lane, Williston, VT 05495 or a designated facility within a 5-mile radius of LESC and delivered to the storage facility. Furniture to be stored consists of several hundred different pieces that shall be accessible within a 24-hour period. The LESC or designated facility does have a delivery dock available for delivery of furniture. Frequency of delivery is dependant on how many projects/removements are being conducted at the LESC which can be as infrequent as once a month or as frequent as several times a week. Delivery shall be made between 24 ? hours up to one week of notification. No holiday or weekend service is required. Hours of operation shall be 7am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Palletized storage is not acceptable. (vii) The term of the contract will be one year from the date of award with an option to extend an additional three one-year periods.
