- Requirement: The United States Government currently occupies approximately 3,900 net usable square feet of contiguous office space and twenty-five (25) parking spaces under a lease in Saco, ME. The Government is expanding its requirement and is considering a competition for alternative office space of approximately 5,981 useable square feet and will relocate if a consideration of the economics and other factors involved are supportive. The cost of moving, alterations and occupant agency mission, among other items, will be considered in evaluating the alternative. This is an inquiry for available space and is not to be construed as an invitation to bid. Delineated Area: WEST: Western Railroad Tracks NORTH: North Street to Elm Street, then south between Elm and Main Streets to half a block past Cross Street, then east to Main Street, then south to School Street, then east on School Street half a block, then north between Main and Middle Streets, then east along Beach Street (approx. 175 feet south of Beach Street), to Eastern Railroad Tracks. EAST: Wakefield Street SOUTH: Saco River (including Saco Island), then west on Market Street to Western Railroad Tracks Term: The Government is interested in a lease proposal of ten (10) years cancelable after seven (7) years. Occupancy: Space must be available by February 11, 2007. Owners & Authorized Agents: Expressions of interest, including information rental quotes should be submitted in writing to the following address within 15 days: The space must meet requirements for handicapped access in accordance with PL-90-480 and must include all services and utilities. Submission by other than the owner or manager of a property must be accompanied by a letter from the ownership granting permission to make a general offering of space. In instances where the offeror is representing more than one property, the offeror is hereby notified that they may only participate in negotiations on behalf of one owner.
