Description

General Description The service to be accomplished under this contract includes the refuse collection services at US installations, and the disposal of collected trash at the US Government owned Shredding Facility at the Sanitary Landfill Grafenwoehr. The collection, transportation of recyclable material and the disposal at authorized recycling plants, as well as the transportation of pre-treated refuse and bulk trash to the train loading stations of the Zweckverband M?llverwertung Schwandorf. The services have to be performed exclusively by a certified disposal company according to paragraph 52 Krw/AbfG. Valid evidence of the certification has to be submitted with the offer. US installations: - United States Army Garrison Grafenwoehr Main Camp- - United States Army Garrison Grafenwoehr Field Camps- - United States Army Garrison Grafenwoehr Ranges/Tactical Sites- The refuse shall be picked up at locations and pick-up days determined on consolidated Pick Up Schedules as well as IAW the Weekly Collection Plan. The refuse from all Grafenwoehr areas shall be delivered to the US-Army owned Sanitary Landfill at Grafenwoe hr in compliance with the specifications and the appropriate regulations. Only trash generated at US- installations may be disposed of at the US- Army owned Sanitary Landfill. Violations will be legally prosecuted. The COR is authorized to inspect refuse p ick-up vehicles prior to collection. If it is determined that the contractor has disposed of non US- installations refuse, the contractor will be responsible for the removal of the refuse.
