SOLICITATION 301816Q314 PROJECT TITLE: Cane Ridge Wetland Management Area Observation Deck PROJECT LOCATION: U.S. Fish & Wildlife Refuge Patoka National Wildlife Refuge (NWR) 510-1/2 West Morton P.O. Box 217 Oakland City, Indiana 47660 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project consists of construction of a wood observation deck with viewing scopes, walkway, and kiosk. Construct the observation deck and provide accessible parking signs in existing parking lot on the Cane Ridge Wetland Management Area of the Patoka National Wildlife Refuge. The work shall include mobilization, minor site grading, carpentry work, and providing and installing metal accessible, metal signs and posts, Viewing scopes on the observation deck, install walk from parking lot to deck, and install kiosk. ESTIMATED MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. SOCIOECONOMIC PROGRAMS: This procurement is SET ASIDE 100% FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. For information purposes, the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 238990, All Other Specialty Trade Contractors, $13 million Dollars. The Solicitation (RFQ) package will be available via electronic commerce at http://ideasec.nbc.gov and http://www.fedbizopps.gov on approximately August 23, 2006 with Quotes due on or about September 12, 2006. A Hard copy of the RFQ Package will not be mailed unless specifically requested. The Solicitation package includes: A scope of work, drawings, and a wage determination.
